What People Are Asking
Frequently Asked Questions
How can people I know get the help they need?
If you, or someone you know in the Southwest Denver Metro area has a physical, financial or spiritual need that is immediate and/or dire, please either call 303-883-5899 or submit an email to info@lovebearsall.org with as detailed of a description of the need as you are able to provide. We will review the need to see if it fits within our vision, mission, locality and financial requirements. If we are able to assist, we will call or reply to your email as soon as possible and let you know how we may be able to assist. If we cannot assist directly, for whatever reason, we know many other people, organizations and agencies who may be able to help. You may also use the Contact page on this website.
Are Your Financial Records Available?
Our financial records are open to all Ministry Partners for their review. We can assure you that 100% of your financial support will be used to meet the needs of real people in our community in either a direct or indirect way. We are a Board-led ministry and we strive for unanimous Board approval on the spending of donated funds to the Ministry Fund (Benevolence Budget), whenever possible. We are virtually entirely run by Volunteers, the only full-time employee of Love Bears All, Inc. is the President/CEO. He works a minimum of 50 hours each week to keep operations going and he draws a salary from the General Fund (Operating Budget). Only our “Clients” benefit from Ministry Fund donations and only if they meet the requirements of Love Bears All to receive help.
How do you determine if someone can receive assistance?
If a Client lives in the Southwest Denver Metro area (Southwest Denver, South/Central Jefferson, Western Arapahoe or North Douglas County) and they can show us by their bank account statement, bills and/or other forms of physical proof that they are in need (eg: EBT qualification, disability qualification, housing assistance), these are normally sufficient to help us determine their qualification for our assistance.
We also consider statements from landlords, employers, neighbors and clergy in the determination of need. Each person is evaluated on a case by case basis and each case is managed by the Love Bears All team. Qualification does not guarantee assistance will be able to be provided. All assistance is contingent upon availability.
What types of donations do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, credit cards and electronic transfers (eg: PayPal, Zelle, bank to bank, etc.).
We also accept the transfer of real property, like cars, trucks, vans, motor homes, boats, trailers, mobile homes, houses and land, whether willed, bequeathed, or gifted. Real property gifts are either gifted for ministry purposes or liquidated to provide funds for ministry.
We do not accept furniture donations at this time as we do not have the warehousing space to collect them.
Clothing donations are only accepted if new or very gently used and clean; and, only during clothing drives.
HOW CAN I HELP?
Our Need for YOU
We need a virtual army of volunteers and donors to do what we do.
Maybe you can help with a particular trade or specialty? Maybe you can sit with an elderly person for an hour every week to visit or read a book? Maybe you can provide good canned, dry or frozen food? Maybe you have some medical equipment to donate? Or, maybe you have the financial resources to be able to give regularly to this ministry?
Please, fill out the form below and let us know how you can help us help others.
Thank you.
